About Me
My name is Anna Guðjónsdóttir. I'm 26 years old girl from Iceland that now lives in Finland.
I lived on the countryside until I was 8 years old and even after that I spend every summer on the countryside until I was 18 years old. My family has also always had horses, so I have had animals around me my whole life.
I got my first dog, a Chihuahua, in 2006 and then there was no turning back. I knew that I was in to dogs and dog shows for a lifetime. My first dog is from Silla (Sigurbjörg Vignisdóttir) kennel Himna and I would like to thank her and Ásta María Karlsdóttir for being my first mentors and teachers in the dogworld.
In May 2009 I went to Finland to work as kennel girl and handler for Merja Kahelin in Helmiäisen kennel. The plan was that I would stay for 3 months but I did stay little bit longer than that, in fact I have not left yet. I want to thank Merja for everything she has taught me about breeding and Chihuahuas. It will help me alot in the futhure. I also want to thank Merja for all the trust she has shown me and the opportunitys she has given to me. Without her I would not be where I am today with my dogs, dogshows or knowleadge of the breed and breeding.
My futhure plans right now are to stay in Finland for now, I started my education in physiotherapy in Autumn 2011 and the plan is to finish this and then who knows what will come next but I'm sure it will be something very interesting.
